From a government school in Kalahandi to building companies that operate globally.

I grew up in Kalahandi, Odisha — a part of India most people will never visit. I attended a government Odia-medium school. What I built there was a habit of figuring things out without the infrastructure that makes figuring things out easy.

That background became the lens through which I see everything: opportunity, systems, India, hiring, and human potential. I run Majhi Group — a retained executive search firm that places VP and C-suite leaders in 30–45 days against a 65–90 day industry median — and Majhi OS, autonomous hiring operations infrastructure. 25+ placements completed. Two global recognitions as a World Staffing Leader.

The writing on this site is not content. It is the actual work of trying to understand things that matter — and building frameworks for people who are serious about them.

The Day Western Odisha Agreed to Wait for Each Other

I've missed Nuakhai more than once—for work, for study, for the life I was building away from home. Perhaps that's why I now see the festival differently: the most important thing on the table was never just the rice. It was the people who made the effort to be there.

From Freedom to Capability

India did not simply move from poverty to prosperity after 1947. It moved from dependence toward capability, one institution, one dam, one steel plant, one satellite at a time. The next chapter is not about building more of it. It is about unlocking what has already been built.

The Rise of the Chief of Staff: The CEO Has Become the Bottleneck

The Chief of Staff is becoming one of the most common executive hires in companies that have outgrown their founders. This isn't a hiring trend. It's a sign that the CEO has become the organization's biggest coordination bottleneck.

The Waiting Generation

Every postponed examination delays more than a recruitment process. It delays independence, dignity, and the lives of an entire generation. Governments often think they are managing examinations. In reality, they are managing time.

The Question That Made Humanity Fly

History remembers the airplane. It should remember the question. The Wright brothers didn't out-build their rivals, they out-questioned them, and that difference is the real story worth learning from.
